| It is 1863 and you are a general on the Confederate side during the battle of Gettysburg and your side is losing. in order to ensure vicotry in this key battle you must redirect your troops and deploy a new battleplan to guarantee a victory for your troops. You mus create an abstract to organize your battleplan and develop a strategy so your troops will be victorious. 1. In order to win the battle and reconstruct a victory you must first study battle strategies of the Civil War. 2. Based on the knowledge you gain from your research you must then create a digital story of how you will change the battle of Gettysburg and map out a victory for the Confederates. Your digital story must contain all the elements that you will need for victory. 3. After you are done with your digital story you will blog like a General would in his journal with at least 4 journal entries done in character. 4. You should have valuable experience for strategies for victory. This is important because it will help you understand why the North did not have an easy time winning the war like they were expected to. Given all of this information you should be able to demostrate and explain why the Civil War lasted so long. |
